Statuses, retries and troubleshooting

The notification bell

A floating bell in the bottom-right corner of every Yoomru page collects alerts, with a red dot when something is unread. Yoomru notifies you when:

A post failed to publish (after its automatic retries), click through to the post's details and the exact error.
A channel got disconnected (the network rejected its access), click through to Channels to reconnect. One alert per channel, not one per failed post.
A planner paused itself (its channels are gone, or no template matches), click through to the planner.
The monthly AI allowance ran out, posts use their templates' fallback text until next month.

Open the bell to read the list (unread items are highlighted), click an item to jump to the related page, or press Mark all as read.

Statuses

Status	Meaning
Draft	Saved but not queued
Scheduled	Waiting for its time (the worker checks every 30 seconds)
Publishing	Being sent right now, can't be deleted until it finishes (Published or Failed)
Published	Live, the details page links to the post when the network provides a URL
Failed	Couldn't publish, the exact error is shown on the post details page

Automatic retries

Transient publish errors are retried automatically, up to 3 attempts.
If the app restarts mid-publish, stuck posts recover on their own (confirmed posts are marked Published; others retry).
A post that already reached the network is never sent twice.

Authorization failures

If a network says the token is invalid, the post is marked Failed, the channel is disabled, and the Channels page shows Reconnect needed. Reconnect the account and use Retry on the failed post.

Common issues

Symptom	Cause / fix
"YouTube requires a video…" / TikTok video errors	These networks need a video. Pick Generate a video in the network's settings (auto-share) or attach/generate one in the composer.
Instagram story posted without text	Instagram ignores API story captions, enable Draw the post text on the story in Instagram settings so the text is painted onto the image.
Telegram post missing the "Read More" button	Multi-image albums can't carry inline buttons (Telegram API limit). Use a single image to keep the button.
Auto-share didn't fire for an old product	Only products created after installing Yoomru take part in auto-share. Share older products manually or with a Planner.
Post links point to the wrong URL	Check Settings → Auto-share → URL (custom template / shortening).
Weekly planner posts at odd hours	Weekly times follow your store's timezone (Shopify → Settings → General). Confirm it's set correctly.
AI text missing from a published post	Generation failed or the monthly AI allowance ran out, the template's fallback text was used instead. Check Settings → AI → Logs for the exact error.
Channel keeps failing with auth errors	Reconnect the channel; for Instagram-login accounts the token auto-refreshes, but a password change or permission revoke requires reconnecting.
